Today is the Chinese moon festival, so I hope you guys are having a good time celebrating. And by you guys, i mean all the chinese. Cause we all know whites don't know anything bout chinese partying! Lol. We love to party it up all the time. Today is supposed to be a full moon and marks the mid autumn day. Farmers harvest their vegetables and go on "vacation" today! WOOT! how happy are they! too bad we don't get to get off school till spring. THat'd be awesome. Well guys, I'm still at the party, so later!

Freshman Year - Day 6
Okay so today was pretty cool and tiring. We had a late start day, meaning class starts at 9:29 AM for first period instead of the usual 7:45. Oh wait? Did i say cool? I meant GAY and STUPID and RETARDED. Because I'm in the IVC Early college program, I had to go at the normal 7:40 time. Which is gay because I have to wake up so early. I need more sleep. Well, here's a breakdown of my day.
Woke up at 7 AM to go to Early Class.
Period uhh... EC?
This was the most boring class today. The instructor got like pissed cause we were all talking so much today. But she was too nice to actually yell. She said in like a sweet voice and all that. It was hilarious. We looked at some scary drawings, but that's pretty much it.
Period 1 - Early College
Nothing much. We were pretty much just goofing off the whole time. That was really fun. Jason kept like hitting my nerves or something on my knee and yea.
Period 2 - Bio
Since i missed 0 period cuz of the EC class, I have to make it up in 2nd period. The other two who go with me are Alex and crystal. I'm so lonely. Only guy that goes. But then again, there's only three people. That was pretty fun, but Mr.Lu seems REALLY mean. And he looks like Jet Li.

Freshman Year - Day 5
Okay hey guys, sorry about not blogging the last few days. I am not going to be blogging on weekends or on holidays. So pretty much, that means just on school days. The counter is by how many school days I've had, so that doesn't count the weekends either. I've been busy with class the last few days, but I'll be trying my best to keep this blog up and running. As you guys know, my other blog was also down for a while. Sorry guys. Will try to get into the habit of blogging. So, here's a breakdown of my day.
Woke up at 6 AM to get ready for school.
Period 0 - Biology
So today in Biology, we did a lab that was supposed to help us in using the "scientific method." You know, where you need to hypothesize, experiment, and then analyze? Well yea. We were told to figure out if the two liquids in flask A and B are the same. Flask A only had 25 ml while Flask B had the whole flask filled. That was fun. Especially when William dropped the beaker on the ground and splattered all the glass and liquid over the floor. That was hilarious. Especially when it was the last minute of class. I didn't stick around to see what happened.
Period 1~2 - Early College
So, Early College has finally started for us. Instead of sitting around doing nothing for the first two weeks, our professors actually showed up. So yesterday, we had Intro to Fine Arts. It looks like a hard class. We're supposed to learn about the history of different art forms and etc. It's supposed to help us one day in our careers. Which prompts me to wonder. Would a trashman ever need to know what type of art he's throwing away? And today we had Humanities class. The professor seems much cooler than the other teacher. But get this. Instead of late start wednesday, which starts at 9:30, we still have to be at the school at normal time (7:40). GAY. I wanted to sleep in.
Period 3 - English 1H
English 1H is okay. I mean, we spent the last two days discussing the "Secret Life Of Bees" book. Honestly, I don't care how the epigraphs are parallel to the story, but neither does anyone else in my class. We still have to do it though. Sigh. Well today we were assigned group projects where we take a topic from the Secret Life Of Bees and we're supposed to present it to the class. We have to lead a "class discussion" and yea. Make a powerpoint or poster and all the same stuff. I was assigned to a group with Ivanne, Alex W. (Who by the way, was bugging me about voting for her the whole day), and Lisa. I know Lisa and Alex, sorta, but I have no clue who Ivanne is. She seems cool though. Really look forward to that...
Break - I NEED A LOCKER!
Period 4 - Spanish 2
Spanish is getting fun again, just like it was last year, and the year before that. But get this. 6 days into the course and she's already going to test us. Today we played a memory game, where u have to flip the cards and matc them up. Yada Yada. I tied with Alex[ander]? I don't really know his name but its either Alex or Alexander. Well he sits behind me in Spanish and next to me in Math. So yeah. We both got 6 pairs. That was really fun, considering that there were so many cards and we didn't care to arrange them in any order. They were just laid out all over the desks. Hard to find the cards.
Period 5 - Algebra 2H
Well, we got our textbooks today. I got this crappy book that's been used for only one year apparently. In fact, it was actually ISSUED in a BAD condition. It really makes you wonder how that happens. THankfully we don't have to bring it to school everyday. That'd be torture. I already have so many english books I have to lug around all day, plus my 4 binders. My backpack is super heavy. I wouldn't be amazed if i have severe scoliosis by the end of the school year. Can't wait till sophmore year. I'll finally get a locker!

Period 6 - Marching Band
Marching band with Mr. Kollias. Wow. Not much to say. We did the warmups today. He actually didn't yell at us too much. In fact, at the end of class he actually told us we did a great job and it was "excellent." I doubt he ever said that before. Then we were let out about 5 minute early. But as I was leaving, I heard him turn around and say to the seniors and juniors and sophmores "that was horrible."

First Day!!!
Okay so today was the first day of school, and it was TOTALLY boring. All we did the whole day was sit around and talk about ourselves and go over our "class syllabus." Oh but I did get to see all my friends again so that's a plus. So anyways, here's a little breakdown of my day.
Woke up at 6 AM to get ready for 0 period biology. (This is my first ever 0 period.)
0 Period Biology started with Mr. Hu, whos chinese by the way, and it was so akward. When we were supposed to ask him questions about himself, NO ONE talked at all. Weall just sat there and stared at the ceiling for like ten minutes. Turns out he's had a girlfriend for 6 years. O_O Amazing.
1-2 Period Early College
Turns out IVC doesn't start till Monday, and since we're on IVC schedule, we don't start class till monday. So today all we did was sit around and goof off for about the first two periods. We had some lady and Mr. Reed (campus supervisor) for babysitters. Mr. Reed was really funny, so yea. He's pretty cool and apparently likes to crack jokes. I'm still trying to figue out what books we need for the class.
3 Period English 1 Honors
I had Mrs. Grexton for english 1 honors. I gotta say, that was probably the most boring class. The only people I really hang out with in that class are Nathan and Soren, but yea. Mrs. Grexton needs to talk louder. I sit in the front row and I could BARELY hear her.
Break
Break was confusing. I could not find any of my friends at all. The whole campus was full of people. Fortunately I arranged to have Christine meet me at the clock tower so at least she ws there. I also saw Aaron and Brandon. But then the bell rang. (I could barely hear the bell. I only knew to go because everyone else was leaving.)
4 Period Spanish 2
Guess what?! I have spanish 2 with Nathan and Sam and Gonzalo and Curtis. Turns out he didn't take spanish 1 in Pioneer so he had to take it in his freshman year. The class is half half between sophmores and freshman. And our spanish teacher isn't even hispanic. She learned Spanish just like we did through college. She's actually half white... and half asian. She woulda been better fit to teach japanese I think. But oh well. We'll deal with it.
5 Period Algebra 2 Honors
This class was taught by Mr. Beilin. The people I know the most in this class is Melissa and Nathan. Oh and Ryan and Sara. but they all sit really far away. I sit in like the back row (cause it was alphabetical and my name is just so unique.) I'm sitting next to like... people I have never ever met before while everyone else is sitting next to people from Pioneer. I have no one to talk to. :( Oh well. It's only temporary. Hopefully he remembers my name.
Lunch
Well... Lunch was just as chaotic as Break. Luckily our old group found a table. But it's in the blazing hot sun. No shade for us. Oh well. We'll get that privilege when we're upperclassmen. We got christine to share a locker with Melissa and I'm just gonna be lugging my books around =P. It's so freaking hot! Plus lunch is only 30 minutes. It used to be at least 45 in Pioneer. And the lines. Don't even get me started. The lines took at least 20 minutes of waiting. Seniors and Juniors kept cutting in. So that didn't help. I was stuck at the same place for like ten minutes. Then i just gave up and left. Didn't have lunch. Save up for something more worth while.

TOMMOROW!
WOW. Ten whole weeks already done. School starts tommorow. Today we had student orientation, and that was really gay. First the schedule said 9:30 to 2. We started at like 10:30 and ended at like 1:30. But I guess that's good since it was over sooner. But I still had to bike home, which took like 30 minutes back. I was so tired. That's pretty much all I did today. Go to the stupid student orientation. That was really boring. We were supposed to "learn" something from it and "take something" away. As if. I learned that school is really boring, and especially student orientations. Also, the bike rack at Beckman is WAY too far from the main gate. I actually got lazy and locked my bike up on the fence. Luckily no one took it away. I'm so tired from biking the whole time.
Well, I have to go to sleep early so I can be able to wake up tommorow. I have 0 period. Starts at 6:45. Later.

3 Days Till School
Hey guys, it's been awhile since I blogged. Ya know, with only three days left till school starts, it really puts into perspective the fact that summer vacation is almost over. Tommorow is my last free day of summer, and then Tuesday I have this stupid student orientation at school. Wednesday is the day I start school. I'm completly dreading it. It's going to be completely tiring, with the IVC classes and honors courses and marching band. Both physical and mental fatigue. I'm already tired just thinking about it. AND I have to wake up at 6 in the morning every single day because I have 0 period. Well, alotta people have 0 period so I can't really complain about that can I? Freshman year is gonna kill me. Some of my friends already started school, and they said that high school is killing them. It's so tiring, and they are getting bullied by the upperclassmen. Thank god I've been working on my arms the whole summer. At least I can hit back if I need to. Heh plus there is absolutely no way I'm going to be able to wake up at 6 in the morning everyday. I usually wake up at 8 (the earliest) and most likely will be around 10. This is gonna be torture.
Besides that, tommorow morning I have to send my dad to LAX so that he can go on a plane to China and come back who knows when. It's really tiring hearing my mom and dad argue all the time, and no matter what I say, they still fight. Ugh. Old people. Well, I gotta wake up early (5 in the morning) so later guys.
